Azulay Misreads Deck, Casino Doubles Up

Niveau 27 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Daniele Casino
Daniele Casino

Preflop, Harel Azulay and Daniele Casino had battled blind-on-blind when Casino's stack of 1,090,000 ended up in the middle.

Daniele Casino: QQ All in
Harel Azulay: JJ

"I know a jack is coming, the jack of hearts," Azulay claimed.

However, the jack of hearts nor the jack of diamonds showed itself on the 2A552 board. Casino doubled up to an above-average stack while Azulay was left with merely 11 big blinds.

Yu Elicits Bluff to Double Up

Niveau 27 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

In a pot worth 280,000, Jingchun Yu check-called a bet from Victor Pobirci on the 8K10 flop. The turn then fell the 2, seeing Yu lead out for 135,000.

Pobirci tossed in a call to the 5 river, where he was checked to again. Pobirci fired an all-in bet, putting Yu at risk for 750,000. Yu took a few seconds and then slammed in a call for his tournament life.

Pobirci could only show ace-high with AQ, while Yu had called with KJ for top pair and won the pot.

Masiewicz Goes Runner-Runner

Niveau 27 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kajetan Masiewicz got his stack of 645,000 in from the small blind and was at risk against Karim Radani in the hijack.

Kajetan Masiewicz: AJ All in
Karim Radani: 1010

It looked like game over for Masiewicz as Redani flopped a set on 10J9. The Q turn gave Masiewicz some hope, however, and the K river completed his Broadway draw to take in the double-up.

Raez's Misclick Ends Tsvetanov's Tournament

Niveau 27 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Friedrich Raez
Friedrich Raez

Presiyan Tsvetanov had opened under the gun when the action folded to Friedrich Raez in the small blind. Not having seen Tsvetanov's raise, he announced an all-in bet, covering the 950,000 chips of Tsvetanov.

Tsvetanov instantly called, and, after some initial confusion, both players showed down.

Presiyan Tsvetanov: AK All in
Friedrich Raez: QJ

Raez paired up on the 9J4 flop and was upgraded to a flush on the 107 runout. Tsvetanov amicably said his goodbyes as a visibly relieved Raez was awarded the big pot.
