Warner Had no Choice

Niveau 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Level 14: Blinds 3,000/6,000/6,000

After a preflop betting war, Robert Warner moved all in for 112,000 and Dax Alexander quickly made the call to put him at risk.

Robert Warner: AK
Dax Alexander: KK

"Ok, gimme an ace!" Warner commanded, and just like that an ace appeared on the flop of QAQ to put him into the lead.

The runout of 63 failed to provide Alexander with a king and the pot was shipped over to Warner for the double-up.

"I had no choice," Warner explained as he raked in the pot to put him above 200,000.

Commons Holds; Kozarewicz Exits

Niveau 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jeremy Commons

Level 13: Blinds 3,000/5,000/5,000

On a multi-way flop of 56A, a player had led out for 13,000 and Brittany Kozarewicz had made the call but then Jeremy Commons moved all in for 120,000.

The original raiser quickly got out of the way but Brittany Kozarewicz was in the tank.

"Ugh... I don't know guys, this is a tough one," she said as she pondered over her cards.

After a few more moments, she decided to make the call, putting herself at risk as Commons had her barely covered.

Brittany Kozarewicz: 78
Jeremy Commons: 55

Commons was well ahead with his set of fives, but still needed to fade Kozarewicz's open-ended straight draw.

The turn 2 gave her even more outs as she picked up a flush draw, but the river bricked out with the 10 to award Commons the pot while Kozarewicz made her way to the exit.

Too Many Outs for Mordenti

Niveau 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Level 12: Blinds 2,000/4,000/4,000

On a heads-up turn of 49K10, the pot had around 60,000 in it when Danny Smith moved all in for 54,000 and the pressure was on Josh Mordenti.

After some moments in thought, Mordenti shrugged and made the call to put Smith at risk.

Danny Smith: JJ
Josh Mordenti: 78

Smith was in the lead with his pocket jacks but needed to dodge the straight and flush combo draw of Mordenti.

Miraculously, the river fell the brick 3 and Smith was awarded the sizeable pot for a double up while Mordenti was left short.

"Better be careful walking home," Smith jested, "You don't seem too lucky tonight."

"That's ok, I just have to make it upstairs," Mordenti laughed as he readied for the next hand.

Fortunately for Mordenti, he managed to scoop a multi-way pot two hands later with a rivered pair of sixes to bring him back to 110,000.

Odom-eter Steps on the Gas

Matthew Odom

Level 10: Blinds 1,000/2,000/2,000

On a heads-up flop of 475, Matthew Odom moved all in and Robert Logan made the call to put him at risk.

Matthew Odom: 78
Robert Logan: 106

Odom was in the lead with his pair of sevens but needed to dodge an eight or a three that would give Logan the straight.

Fortunately for him, the runout of Q9 did not do it and he was awarded the pot for the double-up.

Jonesin' for an Eight Ball

Niveau 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Level 9: Blinds 1,000/1,500/1,500

The player in middle position moved all in preflop for around 10,000 and then after some pause, Dylan Lemery shoved over the top for more. Michael Jones then pushed his stack into the middle too and all three players tabled their cards, with Lemery covering.

Middle Position: AA
Michael Jones: 88
Dylan Lemery: QQ

The short stack was in a great position to triple up and leave a nice side pot for Lemery, but the flop of 538 quickly put a wrench in those plans as Jones took a big lead with his top set of eights. The runout of 4J failed to provide a queen or an ace and Jones was awarded the pot while the short stack was sent to the rail.
