Todd Nichols Eliminates Player to Burst Bubble

Niveau 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A player moved all in preflop and Todd Nichols made the call to put him at risk on the stone bubble.

Player: A3
Todd Nichols: K2

The at-risk player started off ahead with his ace-high, but the flop of A22 was brutal as it gave Nichols trip deuces for a big lead.

The runout of 4K failed to provide another ace for the player and he was eliminated on the bubble as Nichols further improved to a full house.

Brian Winter Leads RGPS Player of the Year Race

Niveau 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Brian Winter
Brian Winter

Last time in Tulsa, Brian Winter won the Flip 'n' Go ring event before he jumped into the Pot Limit Omaha ring event with just moments left in registration. He went on to win that tournament and claim his second ring of the afternoon.

Winter’s other 2023 RGPS rings include a win in the One Day Ring Event in St. Louis, two events in Tunica, and a $16,760 prize in the $250 Deepstack in last January’s Tulsa event.

The big year gives Winter a sizable lead in the RGPS Player of the Year Race, which will run in partnership with the Global Poker Index.

How it works:

  • Leaderboard Points: Players will score points based on their performance in RunGood Poker Series events by the Global Poker Index ranking system.
  • Five Winners: The tally started on August 29, 2023, and ends June 1, 2024. The top five players on the leaderboard will win a seat in the 2024 Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship and a $500 travel stipend.
  • Immortality: The top player will be featured forever on tour with a RunGood Player of the Year banner.

Wall Fills Up; Burke Bounces Back

Niveau 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a heads-up turn of 10359, Tyler Burke checked to Brandon Wall who bet 20,000. Burke made the call to see the 5 peel off on the river and checked once more to Wall.

Wall then thought for a second before setting out a bet of 50,000, which sent Burke into the tank.

"Ooo, forward motion!" tablemate Clayton Soliz joked when a chip accidentally fell off of Burke's stack and rolled across the line.

"Hah, I kind of wish. That would make this decision easier," Burke admitted and after a few more seconds he made the call.

Wall flipped over 99 for a rivered full house and Burke shook his head and mucked his cards while the pot was pushed the other way.

Fortunately for Burke, he got it all in the very next hand with AJ against KQ and doubled up when he spiked an ace on the flop.
