RGPS Cleveland $1,000 Main Event Fires up today at 3:15 p.m.!
For the first time this year, The RunGood Poker Series has returned to JACK Casino in Cleveland, Ohio. The series included eight ring events including a $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship that will begin on Sunday, and the $1,000 RGPS Main Event with $400,000 prize pool guarantee, beginning today at 3:15 p.m. local time.
Last year when the tour came to this casino, the $1,000 Main Event saw a total of 590 entrants come out to play, creating a prize pool of $508,580. After the dust settled on Day 2, it was Louis Ganser who hoisted the RGPS Ring and took home a not-so-little amount of $102,225 for his first RGPS title.

This week so far has seen plenty of RunGood ambassadors come out to play and collect trophies. Players like Daniel ‘Donk’ Hughes, Conrad Simpson, Maggie Fox, and popular Twitch streamer Jake ‘Gernader Jake’ Straus.
Players will start the tournament with 30,000 chips. Blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante, with levels lasting 40 minutes. A break will occur after every three levels. Play will complete when the field reaches level 18, or when just 13.5% of the field remains.
There will be two more flights following this same structure on both Friday and Saturday with Day 2 on Sunday.
