Nowak Coolers Mogilnicki in Massive Pot; Stone Triples, then Exits
Niveau 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
The action was picked up on a flop of 9♠6♥8♠ when all of the chips between Wayne Nowak, Edward Mogilnicki, and Chad Stone got into the middle, with Nowak covering.
Chad Stone: K♠10♠
Edward Mogilnicki: 8♦8♣
Wayne Nowak: 9♥9♦
Nowak was in the lead in this huge cooler with his top set, and the runout of J♣7♠ gave him the win in the big side pot while Stone took the main pot with his flush.
Unfortunately for Stone, he got it all in the very next hand but failed to double with king-queen against the eights Shmaryahu "Mo" Lewis and he was sent to the rail.
