Stephens Makes Trips to Get the Knockout
Niveau 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jesse Jones opened the action with a raise to 4,000 from the cutoff before a player in the small blind three-bet all in for 30,000. Then Aaron Stephens in the big blind made the call and Jones got out of the way to leave the players heads up.
Small Blind: A♠3♥
Aaron Stephens : K♥Q♥
It was a fair fight with the small blind ahead with ace high. But once the board ran out Q♠A♦10♠2♠Q♦ Stephens made trip queens on the river to take the pot and eliminate his opponent.
