Shumaker Picks Off the Bluff
Niveau 23
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Action folded to Demian Shumaker in the cutoff who raised and was called by Danny Clarkson in the big blind.
The flop came 9♠4♣Q♥ and Clarkson checked to Shumaker who bet out 70,000, before Clarkson raised to 180,000. Shumaker made the call to see a turn.
Both players checked after the K♥ turn which brought the 3♥ on the river. Clarkson bet out 250,000, and Shumaker sat in the tank. After nearly a minute thinking over his decision, he made the call. Clarkson tabled to J♣6♣ for jack high and a missed flush draw. Shumaker tabled A♥9♣ for a pair of nines to take the pot.
