Burquist Rivers Kings Up
Niveau 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Action was picked up with cards on their backs in a confrontation between Kevin Locke in the big blind and Jeffrey Burquist in first position.
The flop had read 10♠8♥7♠ and it was Locke at risk for his last 23,000.
Kevin Locke: 8♦7♦
Jeffrey Burquist: K♥K♣
A runout of 9♠9♦ ended up giving Burquist kings and nines to eliminate Locke from the tournament, besting his eights and sevens.
