Karrim Skyrockets to the Bruintjies
Niveau 17
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Brandon Bruintjies limp-called a raise by Ahmed Karrim in the small blind and they then somehow got it in after the Q♦6♠6♣ flop. Karrim bet small, Bruintjies raised to 50,000 and Karrim reraised to 90,000. The shove by Bruintjies for almost 400,000 followed and Karrim instantly called.
Brandon Bruintjies: 8♥8♣
Ahmed Karrim: 6♥5♥
The 5♦ turn and A♣ river brought no miracle escape.
