Jeebaun Rivers Straight for Double Knockout
Niveau 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
It had been a squeeze to 15,000 by Yogesh Jeebaun in the big blind and Hennie Appel called. Jaryd Jardien as preflop three-bettor then jammed for 22,700 and the floor was called to verify if Jeebaun could move all-in over the top, which was 600 chips short. Jeebaun then called, as did Appel.
On the 9♠8♥6♥ flop, Jeebaun instantly declared all-in and Appel reluctantly called for around 38,000.
Jaryd Jardien: K♠K♦
Hennie Appel: J♦J♥
Yogesh Jeebaun: 10♥10♠
Jeebaun was involved with the worst pocket pair but had more outs with the additional gutshot. Nothing changed on the 3♣ turn but the 7♥ river improved Jeebaun, sending two opponents to the rail.
