Kenney Doubles Through Lehne

Niveau 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 7,500 from under the gun, Dan Smith called from middle position, Daniel Colman called from the cutoff, Kathy Lehne three-bet to 30,000 from the button, and Bryn Kenney four-bet shoved from the big blind for 172,000. Action folded to Lehne and she called.

Lehne: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Kenney: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board came down {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, giving Kenney tens full of aces to win the pot and double through Lehne.

Morgan Bankrupt

Niveau 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
John Morgan
John Morgan

John Morgan fell short and moved all in for a little under 60,000 with the {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Phil Laak picked up the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and made the call.

"I've never lost to a guy wearing that type of hat," said Morgan in regards to Laak's big and bold straw hat. "It doesn't look good!"

After the TV crews were in position, the dealer spread the {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, giving Laak top set but added a straight draw for Morgan.

The turn was the {4-Hearts}, and the river was the {9-Hearts}. That gave Laak a full house, and Morgan was gone.

Berkey Bests Drinan

Niveau 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Connor Drinan
Connor Drinan

Connor Drinan got the last of his chips in good with one card to come.

It was his {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} against Matt Berkey's {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} on a {10-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} board.

Of course, Berkey had a ton of outs, and the {q-Hearts} river was certainly one of them, making him a flush and sending Drinan to the rail much earlier than he had planned.

The "Poker Brat" Coming Out

Niveau 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth is in peak "Poker Brat" form right now. He was recently seen verbally addressing Timofey Kuznetsov about the aggression Kuznetsov has been applying, with Hellmuth.

"You look young," Hellmuth said. "Like you're looking to make a name for yourself."

The table got a good laugh out of that, but Hellmuth didn't stop with the comments there. He continued with Kuznetsov for a bit before he turned his focus to a hand against Tom Marchese.

On the {J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Hellmuth checked to Marchese, who bet 7,000. Hellmuth called, and the turn was the {A-Hearts}. Both players checked, and the river was the {K-Spades}. Hellmuth checked, Marchese bet 21,000, and Hellmuth folded.

"Show me if you bluffed me," Hellmuth said to Marchese.

Marchese chuckled, but didn't show.

"I should've raised you on the flop," Hellmuth said. "But I figured you'd take another whack at it."

Lehne Doubles

Niveau 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Dan Smith made it 10,000 to go, and when it folded to Kathy Lehne in the big blind, she bumped it to 35,000.

Smith pushed in, having Lenhe well covered, and she called off for her tournament life with the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Smith had the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, and remained behind on a {k-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} run out to hand Lenhe the double up.

Holz Guesses Queens

Niveau 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

From the cutoff seat, Fedor Holz raised to 10,000. Bill Perkins was on the button and reraised to 25,000. Play folded back to Holz, he called, and the dealer dealt the {K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Both players checked, and the turn was the {7-Clubs}. Holz checked, Perkins bet 25,000, and Holz folded.

"Queens?" asked Holz.

"Damn!" responded Perkins right away. "You're good!"
