Anthony Mercier raised to 1,200 from middle position and he was called three times: by the 2024 heads-up French Championship winner Nicolas Dumont on the button, by Quentin Roussey in the small blind and by Omar Lakhdari in the big blind.
They all checked all the way through a board of K♣5♣K♠8♦. The 10♦ completed the board and Roussey bet 1,600.
Lakhdari snap-folded, Mercier called and Dumont folded. Roussey showed J♠10♥ for two pair. Mercier flipped over the 10♠ but had a lower kicker as his second card went into the muck.
