Padovani Takes a Big Pot With No Showdown
After an open by a player in middle position, Ruben Padovani on the button three-bet to 10,000. He was called by both players in the blinds and by the initial raiser.
The dealer fanned a flop of 5♣5♦10♦. The blinds checked, but the middle position player led out for 10,000. Everybody called.
On the 7♣ turn, the first three players to act checked to Padovano, who decided to go all-in fo 96,500. The small blind went into the tank but fold. Same long decision and same result for the big blind.
It took even longer for the middle position player to make a decision. "You cannot win on the river," Padovani said while calling the clock. The middle position player eventually folded J♠J♣ face up. The big blind revealed A♣10♣ and Padovani scooped the pot.
