Sicconi Shows the Bluff
Niveau 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
On a flop of J♦4♦6♦, Alice Sicconi on the button bet 2,000, but the small blind check-raised to 5,500.
The big blind folded, but Sicconi put two blue chips worth 5,000 each in front of her to raise again. But as she didn't say anything, this action was considered as a call by the dealer, and the tournament director confirmed this decision.
The 4♥ came on the turn, and the small blind checked. Sicconi took this opportunity to bet 8,000 and make her opponent fold. She didn't wait to reveal 10♣7♣ and scooped the pot.
