Less than an hour after the end of Day 1a, Day 1b Turbo of the €1,200 WSOP-C Paris Main Event came to an end here at Stade Jean-Bouin Paris.

As late registration was still open in Day 1a and will remain open until the end of Level 12 on Day 2, Day 1b was not very busy, with 57 entries recorded. However, as quality is worth more than quantity, a few notable players participated in the second flight of the tournament.

WSOP bracelet winner Tobias Peters was one of them, and he ended the day as the chip leader. He won a massive flip in the last level of the day to secure a 349,500 chip-stack. He filled his bag with almost 100,000 chips more than Luca Bensimon (257,500) and David Spir (245,500), who are second and third in chips tonight.
