Zaks Sent to the Rail

Niveau 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jean-François Gaye opened to 2,500 from the hijack, and was called by Nicolas Noguera in the cutoff. Kostyra Zaks in the small blind went into the tank, and decided to three-bet to 12,000. The big blind and Gaye folded, but Noguera immediately four-bet to 42,500.

Zaks counted his stack, and shoved for approximately 55,000. Noguera snap-called.

Kostya Zaks: AJ All in
Nicolas Noguera: 88

The dealer revealed that Gaye also had AJ. Zaks still hit a jack on the flop, but it came with an eight on 8J6. The 9 turn and the Q completed the board, and Zaks was eliminated.

Benjamin Souriau
Benjamin Souriau

A three-way all-in and call situation occurred on Table 245 with Benjamin Souriau in the big blind at risk for 24,500, Franck Jacon in the cutoff all-in as well for 30,500 more, and David Spir in early position with the biggest stack.

Benjamin Souriau: 88 All in
Franck Jacon: AK All in
David Spir: AQ

Even if he had the shortest stack, Souriau was in the lead. The board of 710369 even gave him a straight, so he tripled up while Jacon won the side pot.

Cukrowicz Doubles Up

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Claude Mamalepot opened to 3,500 from the cutoff, and he was called by Abdellah Hadid on the button. Ilan Cukrowicz in the big blind decided to go all-in for 56,500. Mamalepot folded but Hadid made the call.

Ilan Cukrowicz: KQ All in
Abdellah Hadid: 99

"I folded king-queen," Mamalepot said while the dealer was revealing a board of 7AJA. But the Q came on the river to give the best pair to Cukrowicz, who doubled up.

Peters Wins a Massive Flip

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Cards went on their backs on Table 244, with Mengshi Tian in the cutoff at risk for 140,000 (almost 100 big blinds) against Tobias Peters in the blinds.

Mengshi Tian: JJ All in
Tobias Peters: AK

The winner of this hand would become the new chipleader and perhaps the end-of-the-day chipleader.

After a flop of 944, Tian was still on his way to double up. However, Peters hit a pair with the K, taking the lead and winning this massive pot after the 10 river.
