Julien Mariani opened to 5,000 from middle position, then Jordan Dumas in the cutoff three-bet to 15,000. Mathieu Di Meglio in the small blind called, and so did Mariani.

The dealer fanned a flop of J♦8♠7♠, and Dumas continued for 20,000. But this time, only Di Meglio check-called.

Both players checked the 4♥ turn leading to the 8♦ river where Di Meglio bet 5,000. Dumas raised all-in for 245,000 and put Di Meglio into the tank.

For several minutes, Di Meglio counted his stack and thought about his decision. And he eventually decided to call with his 83,000 remaining chips.
