Paris With a Pair

Maxime Taldir

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After he won a pot with 7♥2♥, a player opened from under the gun and he was called by Olivier Paris on the button and by the big blind.

All three of them checked a flop of J♦6♣Q♥ leading to the 8♥ turn. Everybody checked to Paris who bet 1,000. The big blind was the only one to call.

The 2♦ river brought no action and the big blind flipped over K♥9♠ for king high. Paris had J♠3♠ for a pair, so he won this one.
