Shevchenko Stays a Bit Longer
Niveau 22
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Anatoly Savin opened to 60,000 from under the gun. Gaetano Ferrara three-bet to 170,000 from the hijack, then Oleksandr Shevchenko in the cutoff jammed for 185,000. Both Savin and Ferrara called.
Savin checked the 4♣8♠7♠ flop, then folded after Ferrara bet 200,000.
Oleksandr Shevchenko: A♦J♠
Gaetano Ferrara: K♣K♦
Shevchenko was on the edge of elimination. But he was lucky enough to hit a runner-runner flush with the 9♠2♠ runout to triple up.
