Palvini Loses a Small Pot

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jeremy Palvini opened from the hijack and he was called by the small blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 25A and Palvini continued for 5,000. The small blind quickly check-called.

Both players checked the 6 turn, and the 10 river didn't bring any more action. The small blind reveled 54 for a pair and it was enough to win the pot.

A Big Stack for Moundir

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Moundir Zoughari
Moundir Zoughari

A player opened from middle position and Moundir Zoughari in the blinds was the only one to call.

The middle-position player continued for 4,000 on the 6A8, and fired a second barrel of 14,000 on the K turn. Moundir check-called both times.

Both players checked the 6 river and Moundir flipped over 52 for a missed flush draw. The middle-position player had top pair with A9 and scooped the pot.

Despite this pot loss, Moundir is still the Day 1c chip leader with 700,000 chips.
