After an open by the player under the gun, Serge Chechin in the hijack three-bet to 2,000 and he was called.

Chechin continued for 2,000 on 39Q, and fired a second barrel of 4,000 on the 8 turn. The under the gun player check-called both times.

Chechin bet an extra 12,000 on the 6 river and the under the gun player check-called again. Chechin flipped over A5 for ace-high, but his opponent had KQ to scoop the pot.

The dealer fanned a flop K26 and Yoshi continued for 300. The big blind alley.

Both players checked the 4 turn leading to the 6 river where the big blind bet 700. It didn't take long for Yoshi to fold.

Final Starting Flights of 2024 WSOPC Sanremo Main Event Kicks Off at 1 p.m.

With 113 players already having secured a spot on Day 2 after Day 1a and Day 1b of the 2024 €1,000 WSOPC Sanremo Main Event, all other players had their last opportunities to join them today, Saturday, November 9, with Day 1c and Day 1d Turbo.

Last night, Angelo Marrone finished as the Day 1b chipleader with 493,000, just ahead of Claudio Di Giacomo (482,500), who held the chip lead for much of the day. Daniele Cori (460,000), Marco Regonaschi (451,000), and Francesco Biribad (432,000) also reached the 400,000-chip mark.

For those playing the Main Event today, Day 1c starts at 1 p.m. local time, with the first level set at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante and 45-minute levels. Unlimited reentries are allowed, and registration remains open until the end of Level 8 (approximately 7:30 p.m.). A final flight, Day 1d Turbo, will take place at 8 p.m. with 20-minute levels.
