Chris Da Silva Eliminated in 11th Place (£7,000)
Niveau 31
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Chris Da Silva opened to 1,000,000 from the cutoff with Q♣9♣ and was called by Jack Solomon with A♣Q♦ in the big blind.
On the 6♥7♦Q♥ flop Solomon checked to his opponent and Da Silva slid out a bet of 500,000. Solomon promptly produced a check-raise to 2,200,000.
Da Silva pondered his options and moved all in for 6,500,000, with Solomon making the quick call.
The 2♠ turn and 4♥ river provided no help for Da Silva and he exited the tournament, Solomon's ace kicker proving crucial with both players holding a pair of queens.
