Docherty's Set of Aces Cracked by Flush
Niveau 10
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
David Docherty raised to 2,700 from middle position, Iman Sarkeshik called, and Danny Toffel called on the button.
The flop came K♥3♥A♥. Action checked to Toffel, who made it 5,500 to go. Docherty called and Sarkeshik folded.
The turn was the 10♣. Docherty checked and Toffel moved all in. Docherty quickly called and players turned their cards. Docherty showed A♠A♦ for a set of aces. Toffel, however, flipped over 8♥7♥ for a flopped flush.
"I was going to shove," said Sarkeshik.
"I wish you did," replied Docherty as he handed his chips over to Toffel.
