Dead Man's Hand Kills Off Tait
Niveau 16
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
The action folded around to Paul Tait in the small blind who shoved his stack of 23,000, and Christopher Johnson called from the big blind.
Paul Tait: A♦8♠
Christopher Johnson: 10♣7♣
"That's the best hand I've seen in a while, I'll take that," said Tait.
However, things took a turn for the worse for Tait as the 9♥10♠8♥ flop improved Johnson to top pair and an open-ended straight draw.
No help arrived on the 2♦ turn, and the J♣ river gave Johnson a straight, which meant Tait was out in 25th.
