Kashani Crumbles in Brutal Cooler as Sets Collide
Niveau 5
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Kitete-Kikumba Johnson opened from under the gun to 1,200 and Arian Kashani called from middle position before Maciej Kwiatkowski three-bet the small blind to 3,000. Johnson folded, and Kashani called.
On the A♣7♥8♣ flop, Kwiatkowski checked it over to Kashani, who fired 5,000. Kwiatkowski then raised to 17,000, and Kashani shipped his stack of 45,000 into the middle. Kwiatkowski snap-called.
Arian Kashani: 7♣7♦
Maciej Kwiatkowski: A♠A♥
A brutal cooler for Kashani, whose bottom set was nowhere near good enough against the top set of Kwiatkowski. Only the last seven in the deck could save Kashani, but the 9♠8♦ runout wasn't what he was looking for, and he was eliminated.
