Joyce Takes a Unconventional Line
Niveau 33
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Philip Joyce limped in from the small blind with 8♣7♣ and Christopher Brammer checked the big blind holding J♣7♥.
They saw a flop of 4♣6♥10♥ where Joyce checked and Brammer fired 250,000. Joyce then check-raised to 850,000, and Brammer, after thinking for a while, three-bet to 2,000,000. Joyce called.
A 6♦ paired the board on the turn and Joyce led out for 650,000. Brammer folded.
