Garment Holds on to Double Through Mehta

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded around to Vikrum Mehta in the small blind, who raised it up to 15,000. Thomas Garment was in the big blind and shoved for 36,000, which Mehta called.

Thomas Garment: K10 All in
Vikrum Mehta: 86

Garment was the favorite to double up and despite Mehta flopped an open-ended straight draw, Garment's king-high held up on the 5x7xQx23 runout to secure himself a much-needed double-up.

Both players paired their ace on the A63 flop, but it was the kicker that kept Spragg in the lead. No help arrived for Arapi on the 4 turn or 5 river, and he was left with just a fraction of a big blind.

"Chip and a chair mate, that's all you need," said Spragg.
