Demetriou Leads the River

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
George Demetriou
George Demetriou

Keith Cummins opened from early position to 2,500 and got a call from George Demetriou in the small blind.

They went to a flop of JQ8 where Demetriou check-called a bet of 2,000 from Cummins to see the 9 drop on the turn. Demetriou checked again, Cummins bet 5,600, and Demetriou called.

When the A landed on the river, Demetriou led out with a bet of 10,000, and after a while thinking, Cummins folded.

Demetriou showed 109 for a straight as he scooped in the pot.

Trotter KOs Kane

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A full board of KQ92J was showing when Michael Kane got the last of his chips into the middle on the river, and was put at risk by Paul Trotter.

Kane showed a set with JJ, but that was no good as Trotter held Q10 for a rivered straight to earn the pot and the knockout.

Hulme Eliminated by O'Leary's Aces

Niveau 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There were around 20,000 chips in the pot on a full board of 2KJ410 when Andrew Hulme checked it over to Jay O'Leary, who bet 20,000. Hulme only had around 15,000 left in his stack and was in the tank for a considerable amount of time before he eventually put himself at risk.

O'Leary then showed AA, then Hulme mucked his cards and walked away from his seat.

On the same table, Florian Duta has a healthy stack of around 90,000 as the next break looms closer.

Howes Avoids the Kane

Niveau 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Brandon Harris opened to 2,200 from under the gun and got called by Adam Howes & Kelvin Cheng before Michael Kane made a healthy squeeze from the big blind. Harris folded, Howes called off his stack of 16,000, and Cheng folded.

Adam Howes: KQ All in
Michael Kane: AQ

Howes was hesitant to reveal his cards and was met with a "What happened, did you change your mind?" from one of his tablemates.

Not much changed on the 486 flop, but the J turn did give Howes some more outs as he picked up a flush draw. It wasn't the flush that Howes spiked on the river, but instead the K gave him a pair and earned him a double-up.

Rosaman Flipped Out, Nadeem Approaches Six-Figure Stack

Niveau 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Majid Nadeem opened to 1,600 from early position and Atanas Pavlov called on the button before Michael Rosaman shoved from the small blind for a little under 10,000. Nadeem threw a stack of blue chips into the middle, worth 5,000 each, and Pavlov quickly folded.

Michael Rosaman: 99 All in
Majid Nadeem: A10

It was a fair fight that looked to be going Nadeem's way after the 4AK flop paired his ace. Rosaman needed to find a nine to survive, but didn't manage to do so as neither the 6 turn nor 7 river could save him from elimination.
