It was a dream scenario for Mascolo and his aces held up after the board ran out . The big blind was eliminated, while Barabas had to ship nearly two-thirds of his stack over to Mascolo.
It hasn't been the tournament of Sylvain Loosli so far, as the French high roller found himself in the bottom part of the standings throughout the day. Against his countryman Adrian Allain, Loosli went for it by firing three barrels on a board.
Allain check-called both the flop and the turn, but Loosli's 18,500 all in shove on the river proved too much to call. Loosli, who has amassed nearly $6,000,000 in lifetime tournament winnings, is finally above the starting stack.
Two-time Unibet Open winner and Ambassador Dan Murariu has been eliminated from the tournament. Details are unknown, but the Romanian will no doubt be back in Copenhagen to try and win his third title.
