Unfortunate Runout for Kingma

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

Remco Kingma just saw his dream flop appear as he headed 4-way to a flop holding {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The flop came down {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and all four players checked.

The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and Kingma bet out 2,000. Yasir Karoo was the only player interested enough to call and they saw the {10-Hearts} complete the board with a straight out there.

Both players checked and Kingma was the victim of a bad runout as Karoo opened up {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

Thomas Svendgaard raised from the hijack to 1,500 and the big blind called. The flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Svendgaard took down the pot with a continuation bet of 2,000 after the player in the big blind had checked to him.

In the next hand, Svendgaard opened the action again with a raise to 1,500. The big blind called him again and the flop appeared {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}. It checked to the Danish player again and, just like the hand before, he continued with a bet of 2,000. The big blind folded again and Svendgaard took down two pots in a row with a continuation-bet of 2,000.

Jorstad Chipping Up

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 75 ante
Espen Jorstad
Espen Jorstad

Espen Jorstad is chipping up quite nicely since the start of the day. Jorstad just added some more to his stack after three-betting preflop.

Elhanan Togerman raised from the under the gun position to 1,600 and the player to his left, Adrian Barbu, called. When it folded around to Jorstad in the small blind he didn't grab calling chips. Instead, he three-bet to 7,000. Togerman was quick with the fold but Barbu couldn't let go of his hand as easily as Togerman did.

Barbu did end up folding his hand while shaking his head. Jorstad collected the pot and could start stacking again.

Lappin Makes Big Call

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante
David Lappin
David Lappin

Unibet Poker Ambassador David Lappin just won a big pot after he called down an all-in bet on the river. Lappin opened up the action with a raise from early position. The player on the button three-bet to 4,000 and Lappin called.

The flop came down {A-}{2-Spades}{6-Spades} and Lappin checked to the preflop three-bettor. They continued with a bet of 3,600 and Lappin called.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and both players checked this time. The {6-Hearts} river completed the board and Lappin bet 5,000. His opponent moved all in right away and it was for about 22,000.

“wow, it’s a six or nothing. You can’t have ace-six, you can’t have ace-jack, weird way to play aces, which I block. What random six do you three-bet preflop? six-five, seven-six, eight-six?”

Lappin got the clock called on him and his opponent didn't even get to finish the word clock and Lappin had already called. His opponent opened up {K-}{K-} and Lappin made the right call with {A-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Lauttamus Picks Up a Pot

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Jaakko Lauttamus raised from middle position to 1,900 and the only player that called was Damian Krauze in the big blind. The dealer put down a {Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} flop and Krauze checked to Lauttamus. Lauttamus bet 2,100 and Krauze called again.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Krauze checked another time. Lauttamus asked Krauze how much he was playing and Krauze moved his hand so Lauttamus could see that he had about 25,000 behind. Lauttamus bet 4,800 and that was too much to call for Krauze who folded his hand.

Kingma Gives Up

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

It folded all the way around to Remco Kingma in the small blind and he raised to 2,400. Big blind Will Dorey called the bet and they went heads-up to the flop.

The flop came down {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Kingma continued with a bet of 2,500. Dorey called again to see the turn card.

Both players checked when the dealer burnt and turned the {Q-Spades}. The board was complete once the dealer put down the {3-Hearts} river card. Kingma checked another time, but Dorey bet 6,500 after a couple of seconds. Kingma gave up his hand and the chips went to Dorey.
