Feature Table Chip Counts

Niveau 20 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Puumula Eliminated on the Feature Table

Niveau 20 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

About 30 minutes ago, Veli Matti Puumula was eliminated at the feature table in 30th place for €3,870.

Puumula opened up to 38,000 from under the gun with {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} before Arvin Vahdat three-bet jammed for 399,000 with {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} from the small blind. Puumula snap-called to set-up a classic coinflip situation.

The {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop didn't pair Vahdat, but did open up a possible flush draw. The {A-Hearts} on the turn gave Vahdat a huge advantage in the hand leaving Puumula with just one out to potentially get a save in the {Q-Diamonds}.

The {10-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Vahdat doubled up.

Puumula was left with 87,000 in chips and before he lost them the next hand from the big blind.

Delayed Break

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The floor staff just announced that the next break will be delayed. We are with 25 players left in the tournament and the break will be delayed until a player busts out and there are 24 players left so they can do a three-table redraw.

Vahdat Eliminates Fechete

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Over on the feature table, Stefanita Fechete open jammed for eight big blinds from the button with {A-Spades}{4-Hearts} and was called by Arvin Vahdat holding {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Vahdat became an overwhelmining favorite after he paired the {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop. Fechete was officially ousted in 32nd place for €3,480 after he didn't get the help he needed with the {2-Diamonds} appearing on the turn and the {9-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Tsokaridis Sent to the Rail in Greek On Greek Battle

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Georgios Tavoularis just eliminated a fellow Greek from the tournament. All the cards were already on the table and Paraskevas Tsokaridis stood up from his table and had seemingly received a bad beat.

Tsokaridis had {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} in front of his empty seat and Tavoularis had {A-}{9-}. The board read {5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Tavoularis won the hand with a straight sending his fellow countryman home.

Kozub Eliminates Or on a Rollercoaster Hand

Niveau 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Tomasz Kozub
Tomasz Kozub

Tomasz Kozub checked the {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop with about 120,000 in the pot. Amitai Or jammed for 200,000 and Kozub called.

Or turned over {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} for top pair. However, he needed help to survive the hand as Kozub with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} also had top pair but with a better kicker.

Kozub screamed in pain after the {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave his opponent two pair. It was Or's turn to scream after the {A-Hearts} completed the board on the river to give Kozub a better two pair and was eliminated in 29th place for €3,870.

After the hand, Kozub left his seat to wish Or a good game.
