Corbin Cracks Kings to Double

Niveau 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Malik Corbin
Malik Corbin

Alexey Dmitriev opened to 20,000 and Malik Corbin three-bet all in for 140,000. David Pecheur announced all in from the big blind and Dmitriev folded.

Malik Corbin: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
David Pecheur: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The flop {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} gave Pecheur top set but Corbin a flush draw. The turn {10-Hearts} gave Corbin extra straight outs and the river {j-Diamonds} completed both of them and he doubled up leaving Pecheur with just five big blinds.

Nolten Forces Out Nex at Table of Monsterstacks

Niveau 14 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Vladimir Nex
Vladimir Nex

Day 1b chip leader Vladimir Nex opened to 10,000 and Day 1c chip leader Jeffrey Nolten three-bet to 25,000 from the next position. Nex four-bet to 58,000 and Nolten called.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}. Nex continued for 40,000 but snap-folded to a shove from Nolten.

Not only are these two at the table, but so is the Paris Edition chip leader Michel Leibgorin, meaning the top three in chips at the start of the day are now seated at the same table.
