Bocher Spikes the Turn to Double Through Amakane
Niveau 4
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
The action was picked up on the flop with around 22,000 in the middle in a hand between Marion Bocher in the big blind and Zakarya Amakane from middle position.
On the Q♥10♣5♠ flop, Bocher checked to Amakane who put in an overbet of 25,000. Bocher did not take long before she put in the call.
The turn brought the A♣. Bocher checked once again and Amakane immediately jammed as the covering stack. Bocher snapped it off for 50,200 effective.
Marion Bocher: A♠Q♦
Zakarya Amakane: Q♠10♠
It was a cooler scenario with Amakane flopping two pair and being outdrawn on the turn. Bocher needed to dodge a ten to double and she did so as the river brought the J♠. Bocher collected a massive double in the largest pot of the day so far.
