The Final Six Return for Day 2 of Event #1: $10,000 No Limit Hold'em

2018 US Poker Open
2018 US Poker Open

The final six players will return to the Aria Resort and Casino for Day 2 of Event #1: $10,000 No Limit Hold'em. Leading the charge is high-stakes poker pro, Justin Bonomo, with 1,610,000 chips.

Bonomo moved throughout the opening day with an above-average stack until he played a big hand with chip leader, Andy Park. Bonomo took over the lead when his pocket kings held up against Park's pocket sevens. From then, Bonomo slowly continued to build his stack until the day was complete with just six players remaining.

Among those six players are other high-roller regulars, Stephen Chidwick (665,000) and David Peters (623,000). They will come into the day as the two short stacks but are still around 40 big blinds deep. There will be plenty of time for the two of them to mount a comeback as they look to capture the first of eight events of the US Poker Open.
