Hands #126-130: Peters Moves Into the Lead

Niveau 25 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

Hand #126: David Peters raised to 155,000 on the button with {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Boutros Nadim three-bet from the big blind with {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Peters quickly folded and Nadim took a stand for himself.

Hand #127: Nadim raised to 185,000 in the small blind with {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Peters defended his big blind with {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}. The flop came {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Nadim just open-jammed all in with his flush draw, putting Peters to the test. As his 30-second shot clock was expiring, Peters elected to fold sending the pot to Nadim.

Hand #128: Nadim raised to 175,000 on the button with {j-Spades}{10-Spades} and Justin Bonomo called form the big blind with {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. The flop came {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Bonomo check-folded to Nadim's all in, holding a royal flush draw.

Hand #129: Peters opened to 155,000 on the button with {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and picked up the blinds and ante.

Hand #130: Nadim raised to 210,000 with {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} in the small blind and Peters defended his big blind with {k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The flop came {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Nadim splashed in a bet of 325,000. Peters just called with his trip kings and the {j-Hearts} landed on the turn. Nadim fired another 400,000 and Peters continued to call. The river brought the {3-Diamonds} and Nadim tossed in a small bet of 100,000. Peters shipped all in for 735,000 and Nadim started to count his chips. After using up one of his time extensions, Nadim slid his cards to the muck, allowing Peters to rake in a chip-leading pot.
