Hands #135-139: Chidwick Can't Make the Winning Call

[user339872] • Niveau 26: 40,000-80,000, 80,000 ante

Hand #135: In a limped pot preflop, the flop fell {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Keith Tilston led out for 100,000 with {8-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Stephen Chidwick raised to 160,000 holding {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Tilston called his pair of deuces and the {a-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Tilston checked and Chidwick bet another 400,000. Tilston continued to call and the {6-Diamonds} on the river gave Chidwick the best hand. Tilston shipped all in for 1,300,000 and with his tournament life at risk, forced a fold from Chidwick.

Hand #136: Tilston raised it up to 200,000 on the button with {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Chidwick pushed all in for 2,560,000 with {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Tilston folded the best hand this time and the stacks leveled out.

Hand #137: Chidwick limped in on the button with {9-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Tilston checked his option with {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. The flop came {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Tilston check-folded to a bet of 80,000 from Chidwick.

Hand #138: Tilston raised to 200,000 with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} on the button and Chidwick called with a suited {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Chidwick checked his bottom pair. Tilston flopped a set of tens and bet 200,000. Chidwick called and the {a-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn. Both players checked and the {q-Clubs} landed on the river. Chidwick checked again and Tilston fired 400,000 which was snap-called by Chidwick. Tilston tabled his full house and Chidwick's cards went to the muck.

Hand #139: Chidwick limped in with {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Tilston raised to 300,000 with {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} in the big blind. Chidwick quickly folded and Tilston extended his lead.
