Tilston Induces a Shove from Mateos

Niveau 12 : 3,500/7,000, 7,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

On the outer table, the action folded to Keith Tilston in the small blind who just limped in for 7,000. Adrian Mateos was on the short stack and shipped all in for around 160,000. Tilston quickly made the call and the cards were tabled.

Keith Tilston: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and although Tilston flopped a set, Mateos picked up a flush draw. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river wasn't enough for Mateos as he was sent to the rail.

Negreanu Makes Trips on the River

Niveau 12 : 3,500/7,000, 7,000 ante

On the feature table, Daniel Negreanu opened on the button with the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Ben Tollerene defended his big blind with the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

A {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop fanned out and both players checked to see the {j-Clubs} hit the turn. Tollerene bet 30,000 and Negreanu called. The {10-Diamonds} peeled off on the river giving Negreanu trip.

Tollerene bet 65,000 with his pair of jacks and Negreanu popped it up to 165,000. Tollerene used one of his time extensions before tossing his cards into the muck.

Only 10 Remain After Bonomo Eliminated

Niveau 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

After doubling up Bryn Kenney the hand before, Justin Bonomo was left with only three big blinds. Keith Tilston raised to 14,000 from the cutoff and Bonomo stuck in his last 21,000 from the small blind. Brian Rast called out of the big blind and Tilston also completed.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} with Rast and Tilston left to battle in a side pot. Rast led out for 35,000 and Tilston made the call as the {a-Clubs} landed on the turn. Rast checked this time and Tilston fired a bet of 40,000. Rast called and the {8-Hearts} peeled off on the river.

Rast checked again and Tilston pushed in a bet of 80,000. Rast threw his hands up and went into the tank for over a minute. He eventually mucked his cards and Tilston tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a straight. Bonomo turned over {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and was thus eliminated, bringing the tournament down to just 10 players.
