Zamani Talks His Way Into the Right Call

Niveau 14 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Martin Zamani raised in the cutoff to 24,000 and he found a call from Cary Katz in the small blind and Sean Winter in the big blind.

The flop was {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and action checked to Zamani who put out a bet of 30,000. Katz let it go while Winter called.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and both players checked to see the {3-Hearts} on the river. Winter bombed, making it 140,000 and Zamani dropped into the tank. He immediately started talking to himself.

"I should've just bet the turn again and made my life easier," Zamani said. "Do you have any thoughts, Sean?"

Winter stayed silent as Zamani used a time extension. Eventually, Zamani put in the chips to call.

Winter showed his {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} only.

"Is that really all you have?" Zamani said, implying that Winter may be slowrolling. Zamani showed his {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} for two pair. Winter wasn't able to produce a better hand, so Zamani took down the pot, chipping up to around 700,000.
