Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Justin Bonomo opened with a raise from the cutoff and Keith Tilston three-bet on the button to 10,000. Action folded back to Bonomo who called.

The flop was {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Bonomo checked. Tilston put out a bet of 10,000 which Bonomo called.

The turn was the {j-Hearts} and Bonomo checked again. Tilston bet 30,000. Bonomo used his full time-bank before he raised all-in for 140,000. Tilston called.

Justin Bonomo: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Keith Tilston: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Tilston flopped a set, but Bonomo turned better with a flush. The river was the {9-Clubs} though, pairing the board so Tilston, with the covering stack, scooped the pot and eliminated Bonomo from the tournament.

Imsirovic Takes a Monster Off Blieden

Niveau 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ali Imsirovic
Ali Imsirovic

Nick Schulman opened from the cutoff with a raise to 3,000. Dennis Blieden called in the small blind and Ali Imsirovic called in the big blind.

The flop was {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Blieden led out for 4,000. Imsirovic then raised, making it 14,000. Schulman tanked a bit, then folded but Blieden called.

Blieden led again on the {2-Diamonds} turn, making it 20,000. Imsirovic didn't waste long calling.

On the {6-Spades} river, Blieden bet again, making it 46,000. Imsirovic instantly called. Blieden turned over his {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a turned flush, but Imsirovic was holding {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a better flush and that would earn him the big pot early here on Day 1 of the Main Event.
