Peters Collects from a Fresh Kenney

Niveau 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Bryn Kenney just sat down and already David Peters wants to tangle. The hand started with Stephen Chidiwick limping from under the gun, Peters raised to 13,000 in the cutoff, Kenney three-bet to 41,000 on the button and only Peters called.

The dealer spread out {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{q-Hearts} on the flop and both players checked to the {5-Spades} on the river. Peters chucked in a bet of 25,000 and Kenney called.

A {q-Spades} landed on the river and both players checked. Peters tabled {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes and Kenney mucked, sending the pot to Peters.

Keith Tilston
Keith Tilston

Keith Tilston opened to 15,000 from early position and he was called by Seth Davies in the cutoff and David Peters on the button.

The flop was {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Tilston made it 40,000. Davies called while Peters got away.

On the {k-Diamonds} turn, Tilston fired again, making it 85,000. Once more Davies called.

The {3-Spades} hit the river and Tilston thought for a bit before moving all in with a covering stack. The shove was for roughly 215,000 effective. Davies thought briefly then released his hand, allowing Tilston to take down the pot and chip up to over 900,000.
