Field Ready for Winamax Poker Open Main Event Day 2

Over the course of two days, 373 players from Day 1A and 696 players from Day 1B have been whittled down to just over 200, and they will combine today at the Citywest hotel in Dublin on their quest to run deep in this year's Winamax Poker Open Main Event.

As is to be expected, there are still a whole lot of Frenchmen and women still in the field, including Team Winamax Pros Bruno Lopes, Sylvain Loosli, Gaelle Baumann, Romain Lewis, Davidi Kitai, Aladin Reskallah and Ivan Deyra.

Lopes is in fact the chip leader, and is the only player over 800,000 in chips. Yesterday's chip leader Laurent Decauwert is slightly behind him on 750,000 and we will be keeping an eye out for the pair of them.

There are still a smattering of Irish players among the remaining players, with tournament regular Dara O'Kearney sticking around alongside compatriots Jude Ainsworth and Liam O'Donoghue.

Action gets underway at 12 p.m. local time. Level lengths are increased to 50 minutes on Day 2.
