Vaur Is the Beneficiary of a Cooler
Niveau 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
A preflop-raising war saw approximately 20,000 find it's way into the middle, heading to a flop of 9♠3♦Q♦.
Simon Vaur, in the small blind, checked the action to the player on the button. The button bet out 8,000 and Simon Vaur check-raised, moving all in for 24,100. The button snap-called.
Simon Vaur: A♥A♦
Button: K♥K♦
Vaur's premium pocket pair only needed to fade two outs to double up. The 4♣ turn and 6♥ changed nothing and Vaur doubled.
