Mazet Hits a Set Against Tsunamy
Niveau 11
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
On the feature table, Florence Mazet opened to 2,000 from under the gun and was called by the cutoff. But in the small blind, Javier Tsunamy three-bet to 13,000. Mazet was the only one to call.
The flop was 3♠10♠K♠, and Tsunamy continued for 15,000. Mazet called, but both players checked the 5♣ turn.
Tsunamy checked again the 8♥ river, and Mazet decided to bet 35,000. It didn't take long for Tsunamy to fold with A♦2♣. Mazet had a set with 8♠8♣.
