Barthe Stabs the River
Niveau 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
The pot stood at 19,500 with two players looking at a board of 3♣Q♥A♣5♠.
Corinne Barthe, in the small blind, checked the action to the cutoff, who bet out 7,000. Barthe called.
The Q♦ river saw Barthe tank for some time before finally deciding to play out of flow, leading for 15,000. The cutoff, who had clearly already made up their mind, snap-folded A♠5♥ face up, having had their two pair counterfeited.
