Don Cho raised to 100,000 from the button. Didier Mambour three-bet to 380,000 from the big blind and Cho four-bet jammed for 1,220,000. Mambour made the call.
Don Cho: A♦10♦
Didier Mambour: A♥Q♥
Cho, the start of Day 2 chip leader, was all in and behind. The 8♦J♥5♥8♥J♦ runout had Cho dead on the turn and his deep tournament run came to an end.
The pot stood at 270,000 with two players looking at a board delt to the turn, as it read 8♦J♥3♠Q♠.
Tarik Ben Kirane, in the big blind, checked the action to Kasra Rashidi Manesh, in the cutoff. Manesh bet out 175,000 and Kirane made the call.
Both players took their time on the 4♠ river to check to a showdown. Kirane tabled J♣9♠ for second pair, while Manesh claimed this pot with 10♣9♣ for a turned straight.
On the feature table, Guillaume Darcourt raised from the button and faced Hadrien "zChance44" Gallois who defended from the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of 6♠2♣A♦, Darcourt continued for 80,000, but Chance check-raised to 180,000. Darcourt called, then called again when Gallois fired a second barrel of 300,000 on the 3♦ turn.
The 10♦ came on the river and Chance moved all-in for 335,000. Darcourt went deep into the tank, and after a few minutes, he called with A♥8♠. However Gallois had two pair with 6♥3♥, so he won the pot.
Abdelhadi Kondah moved all in for his last 420,000 from the cutoff, the small blind moved all in himself as the covering stack and Pierre-Alexandre Danty snap-called off the bet for his remaining 1,020,000, from the big blind.
Abdelhadi Kondah: K♥7♥
Pierre-Alexandre Danty: A♣A♠
Small Blind: A♥10♦
Danty picked up aces at just the right time. The board ran out 8♦J♥3♦4♠6♦; Danty's aces held to send Kondah to the rail and more than doubled him up in the process.
Julien Liarte raised to 80,000 from under the gun, receiving calls from Romain Lewis in the hijack, the small blind and Soufiane Messadek, in the big blind.
The action checked to Lewis, who bet out 115,000 on the 3♥6♦8♣ flop. Only Messadek called.
The 9♠ turn checked through to the Q♠ on the river. Messadek checked again and Lewis fired out a bet of 315,000. Messadek snap-called. Lewis tabled A♥J♥ for ace high, while Messadek won this pot with 9♦8♥, for two pair.
