O'Brien Gets Rivered In a Massive Pot
Niveau 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
The pot stood at around 14,200 with two players looking at a flop of A♦10♠J♠.
Alexandra O'Brien, in the hijack, checked the action to Tanya Masters, in the cutoff. Masters bet out 10,000 and O'Brien check-raised, moving all in for 35,300. Masters went deep into the tank, thinking for some before making the call.
Alexandra O'Brien: J♣10♣
Tanya Masters: A♠K♦
O'Brien was ahead with two pair and the 2♥ turn was a safe one. However, the A♥ river gave Masters trips to send O'Brien to the rail.
