Two in a Row for Hunichen

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Chris Hunichen opened to 6,000 from middle position and Kelvin Kerber three-bet to 18,000 from the cutoff. Hunichen made the call.

The flop came 943 and Hunichen check-called a 13,000 continuation bet from Kerber.

Hunichen check-called another bet from Kerber on the 3 turn, this time for 18,000.

On the 9 river Hunichen checked once more and Kerber bet enough to put Hunichen all in for his remaining 40,500. Hunichen made the call.

Kerber tabled KK for kings and nines while Hunichen showed down AA for aces up to take the pot.

The very next hand, Hunichen found himself all in with a covering stack against an early position player who had roughly 50,000.

Early Position: AJ
Chris Hunichen: JJ

Hunichen was very far ahead with top set on the J86 flop and by the 7 turn his opponent was drawing dead. After the 5 river was dealt Hunichen scooped another healthy pot while sending his opponent to the rail.

Aldemir Sniffs Out the Bluff

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Oleg Ustinovich raised to 6,000 from early position only to see Koray Aldemir to his direct left come in for a three-bet for 15,000. Action folded back around to Ustinovich who tossed in the call and watched as the flop came down 4Q2.

Ustinovich checked over to Aldemir who continued with a bet of 8,500. Ustinovich was pretty quick to put in the call and see the 8.

Ustinovich checked and Aldemir checked it back to bring the Q out on the river.

Ustinovich paused for a moment before reaching into his stack and coming out with a bet worth 10,000. Aldemir thought for a short moment before deciding to make the call to see Ustinovich turn up the A2, prompting Aldemir to roll over the A4 and take down the flop with the successful bluff catch.

Tyler Brown
Tyler Brown

Recent $25,000 PLO High Roller finalist Tyler Brown was all-in with a short stack and flipped over the 66.

He was up against Assad Kamran, who took the flip holding the AK.

The J42 flop and Q turn kept Brown ahead but the A river improved Kamran.

"No worries, I will be back," Brown said on his way out and will likely re-enter the competition in one of the remaining three flights at the Atlantis Casino & Resort.

Weinman On Cruise Control

Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Action folded to Daniel Weinman who raised to 8,500 from the small blind with Dorin Barban making the call from the big blind to see the 10Q10 flop.

Weinman checked to Barban who gathered chips and tossed out a bet of 11,000. Weinman put in the check-call to bring out the Q on the turn.

Both players checked through to see the 8 fall on the river.

Weinman checked again and to his disappointment, Barban checked it right back to get to showdown before turning up the J10 only to see Weinman turn up the KQ in a pot that could have ended up with a lot more in the middle.

Fortunate Spin for Lin; Deyra Hits the Bin

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Ivan Deyra raised to 5,500 and Ren Lin went into a brief tank. "You already raised the last hand, maybe you have a really bad hand this time. Okay ..." Lin joked and pushed forward his no gamble no future patch.

The shove of Lin was for 70,000 and Deyra snap-called, then exposed his 1010.

"No good, you have two outs," Lin joked as he showed his 88.

The inferior pair got there on the J937Q board and Deyra was left with fumes.

His last few chips went in right after with the A4 and Alex Livingston looked him up with the A3. Once more, Deyra suffered the blow on the K8398 board to hit the rail.

Foxen Shows the Winner

Kristen Foxen
Kristen Foxen

Action folded to Kristen Foxen who raised to 4,000 from the button and found one caller in Jeremie Zouari in the big blind leading to a 632 flop.

Zouari checked over to Foxen who continued for 3,000. Zouari made the quick call to see the turn come the A.

Zouari opted to lead out and did so with a bet of 5,500. Foxen wasted little time in putting in the call to watch as the A fell on the river.

Both players checked through to showdown and Foxen turned over the 75, which was good enough to get a muck out of Zouari and take the pot down.

In addition to a seven-figure payday, the winner will receive a new WSOP Paradise Main Event bracelet that is hand-crafted by Jostens and features an island spin on the classic WSOP Main Event bracelet.
