Robert Cowen raised to 10,000 and then quickly called the shove by Matthew Wantman for 62,000 from two seats over.

It was a classic flip with the A♦J♣ for Wantman and the 8♠8♥ of Cowen. The 9♠7♥6♠ flop and 9♥ turn left Wantman on the ropes but the J♥ river provided the necessary help.

Mercier Wants the Pot Now

Oscar Cueva opened in middle position to 10,000 before the action moved to Clemen Deng in the cutoff who called and then Natasha Mercier defended her big blind.

The 6♠6♥Q♦ flop landed and the action checked all the way to Deng who bet out for 9,000. Mercier wasted little time before putting in a large check-raise to 37,000.

Unfortunately, if this was for value, it would not receive anymore action and her opponents mucked. She dragged the pot with out even seeing a turn.

Zlotnikov Teases Katz

In a multi-way limped pot, Anatoly Zlotnikov teased Ari Katz that he would be in trouble. They checked the A♥Q♠10♠ flop and Zlotnikov then bet the 9♣ turn for 23,000, only Katz called. Zlotnikov then bet the 2♥ river for massive 126,000 to send Katz into the tank.

No call followed and Jamie Sequeira was trying to tempt Zlotnikov into showing a bluff.

"Let me have a second please, I almost had a heart attack," Zlotnikov said with a deep breathe when the dealer stared at him.

"Sure, just give me the cards," the dealer instantly grinned back.

Zlotnikov claimed the pot without showdown and soared to around half a million in chips, one of the larger stacks in the room.

Khan Eliminated by Ausmus

Shahraz Khan got his chips in with the Q♠J♠ and was up against multiple bracelet winner Jeremy Ausmus, who revealed the 8♥8♣.

The 7♦7♠6♥5♦9♠ board gave Ausmus a nine-high straight and that spelled the end for Khan.

"Nice to meet you," Khan told his table neighbour and they shook hands before parting ways.

Down to the last 36,000, Canada's Maduka Meragal got his chips in with the 10♥9♥ and Biao Ding quickly called with the superior A♦10♣.

The J♥7♣6♠ flop gave Meragal an additional gutshot to go with his one live card but the 10♠ turn as well as 4♣ river were blanks.

Doddapaneni Puts Kitai in the Blender

Niveau 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Kevin Martin opened in early position to 8,000 before Sriharsha Doddapaneni called from the cutoff and Davidi Kitai defended his big blind.

The 5♠3♦3♠ flop landed and the action checked to Doddapaneni who took the betting lead with a wager of 8,000. It was then on Kitai who only took a moment before putting in a check-raise to 22,000.

Martin folded but Doddapaneni put in the chips and the J♠ rolled off on the turn completing the flush. This didn't slow Kitai down as he put out another bet of 18,000. Doddapaneni called again.

The Q♠ hit the river and Kitai slowed down and checked. Doddapaneni sat in the tank for a moment but eventually he moved all in for his last 92,000.

Kitai looked to be in pain over the decision and mulled it over for close to three-minutes before his cards finally found the muck.

Doddapaneni smiled as he dragged the pot and Kitai made a joke about wanting to see the Doddapaneni's hand.
