Liviu Bartha Eliminated in 8th Place ($35,600)
Niveau 34
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Josef Snejberg opened to 1,000,000 from under the gun and Liviu Bartha defended from the big blind.
The flop came 6♣5♠4♠. Bartha checked, Snejberg fired a 750,000 continuation bet and Bartha check-raised to 3,000,000, leaving approximately 3,000,000 behind. Snejberg moved all in with a covering stack and Bartha snap-called, putting himself at risk.
Liviu Bartha: 4♣4♦
Josef Snejberg: 6♦6♥
Both players had flopped a set but Snejberg had the best of it with top set in what could only be described as a brutal cooler. Bartha was left drawing to one out and couldn't find the case four on the K♣ turn or 7♠ river, resulting in his elimination while Snejberg continued to dominate the final table.
