Burford Slows Bernhauser
Niveau 30
: 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Fabian Bernhauser raised to 3,000,000 and Mark Burford called from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way for a 6♠K♦9♣ flop. Bernhauser bet 475,000 and Burford called to see K♣ on the turn. Both players checked and the river was A♦. Bernhauser fired 375,000 but Burford made it 1,200,000 and he folded.
On the next hand, both players were heads up again with a full board of 2♠8♦4♦9♦2♣ when Bernhauser bet 1,600,000 into a pot of what looked like 2,000,000. Burford called and turned over J♥J♣ while Bernhauser mucked the dusty K♠J♦.
